Dr. Christina V. Montague is married to Pastor Austin Montague and is a mother of four children. She served four years as an U.S. Air Force officer from August 1988 to December 1992. She taught Pediatrics at the University of Arizona’s School of Nursing from 2000 - 2001.
A passionate worshiper, Dr. Christina loves to lead others toward worshiping God in spirit and truth. She and her husband co-founded Door of Hope Christian Ministries and Emmanuel Worship Center. As an ordained pastor, God uniquely gifted Dr. Christina in the ministry of marriage discipleship. God utilizes her as an instrument in premarital counseling, healing, transformation, and the restoration of broken marriages and relationships.
Dr. Christina holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Clinical Christian Counseling and a Master of Science Degree in Nursing with emphasis in Primary Care Pediatrics. She is board certified by the National Christian Counselor Association (NCCA) in Child and Adolescent Therapy; as well as Integrated Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also a NCCA Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor, Clinical Pastoral Counselor, and Certified Temperament Counselor.
She is a professional member of the National Christian Counselor Association (NCCA), American Association of Christian Counselor, and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She along with her husband Austin is senior pastor of Emmanuel Worship Center. Dr. Christina currently works as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and resides in Tucson, Arizona.
